Punjab Desk: Divisional Commissioner Vinay Bublani today visited the SDM and Tehsildar offices of Malerkotla for a surprise inspection. On this occasion, on reaching the office, the Deputy Commissioner Malerkotla was given a medal of honor by the Punjab Police personnel. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Viraj S. Tirke, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sukhpreet Singh Sidhu, Assistant Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Garg, District Revenue Officer Mandeep Kaur and heads of various branches were present.
He then evaluated the services related to the Revenue Department being provided to the people, including the court cases being handled by them, from SDM Gurmeet Kumar Bansal and Tehsildar Ritu Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Sukhwinder Singh, Naib Tehsildar Amargarh Lovedeep Singh.
Giving directions for immediate disposal of pending cases, the Divisional Commissioner, taking serious note of the cases pending in the Revenue Courts for years, said that all revenue matters like land distribution, marking, measurement, Khasra-Girdawari, Numbardari, Chowkidari and Mutkal should be disposed of within the stipulated time limit. He strictly said that in case of unnecessary delay, the accountability of the concerned officer will be fixed.
On this occasion, Vinay Bublani reviewed the records meticulously during his inspection and gave clear instructions to the officers to work transparently and on time. He said that the priority of the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is to provide government services to the people in a timely and transparent manner without any hindrance, strict action will be taken against any officer or employee who is negligent in this work.
Vinay Bublani ordered the SDM and Revenue Department officials to inspect the offices under them and the report should be sent to the Divisional Commissioner’s office. He said that the SDM himself should regularly inspect the offices of Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar and Kanungo.
Divisional Commissioner Vinay Bublani said that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, he is visiting all the sub-divisions of the division to ensure transparent administrative services to the people. He reiterated that no one will be spared for any negligence in work. On this occasion, the administrative officers assured that strict compliance of the instructions will be ensured.
