Punjab Desk: Faridkot Assembly Constituency MLA S. Gurdit Singh Sekhon has appealed to the residents of the district to participate in large numbers in the “ Light and Sound ” event organized at Nehru Stadium Faridkot on 8th November 2025 ( Saturday) from 6 pm to 8 pm.
This unique event is dedicated to the immortal martyrdom of the great martyrs of India, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and Bhai Mati Das Ji , Bhai Sati Das Ji , Bhai Dayala Ji etc.
- Sekhon said that this event will provide us with a precious opportunity to remember the immortal sacrifices of our Gurus and martyrs. He said thatthrough this unique program of “Light and Sound ” , the life story of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, which was sacrificed for the religion, will be depicted , which will be interesting for people of all ages , especially the younger generation . Will become a source of inspiration.
He said that the Punjab government aims to connect people with their history, religious heritage and culture through such events . He said, ” Our Gurus laid down their lives to protect religion, justice and humanity. Their sacrifices inspire us to walk on the path of unity, tolerance and truth .”
Finally , S. Gurdit Singh Sekhon appealed to the district residents , students , teachers , social workers and youth to participate in this sacred and historical memorial event along with their families and make it a success.
