Punjab Desk: The Punjab government will organize a special light and sound show on November 20 at Government College Malerkotla dedicated to the 350th martyrdom day of the ninth Guru and the leader of India, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. To review the preparations in this regard , an important meeting was called under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Viraj S. Tidke . On this occasion, SSP Gagan Ajit Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Rimpy Garg, SP Gursharanjit Singh, SDM Malerkotla/Ahmedgarh Gurmeet Kumar Bansal, SDM Amargarh Surinder Kaur , Assistant Commissioner Rakesh Garg , Principal Government College Dr. Anila Sultana and other officials were also present.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this 45-minute light and sound show will digitally depict the life, teachings and great sacrifice of Guru Sahib. This show will be a unique experience for the devotees which will vividly present the message of peace, tolerance and global brotherhood of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He said that this event will vividly present the message of Guru Sahib of humanity and compassion and will be a true tribute. The Deputy Commissioner said that the entry for the show will start from 6 pm , and there will be free and open entry for every citizen . He appealed to all the district residents to participate in this show in large numbers.
The Deputy Commissioner closely reviewed the preparations for security, traffic management, cleanliness, parking, barricading, power supply, medical teams, fire safety, drinking water and publicity etc. and gave strict instructions to the concerned officers to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
On this occasion, SSP Gagan Ajit Singh said that the police are making elaborate security arrangements for the smooth conduct of the event. He said that police force will be deployed at the parking areas, entry and exit points. Different sector wise duties will be imposed for traffic management so that there is no crowd or jam. He said that the safety and convenience of the devotees is the top priority of the administration.
The Deputy Commissioner issued instructions to complete all the arrangements in a time-bound manner with the cooperation of the police and civil administration. He said that remembering the life messages of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji motivates us to follow the path of truth, religion and humanity.
