Schools Reopen on First Day After Summer Break with Enthusiasm
Painting, Poetry, Games, and Other Educational Activities Organized

Punjab Desk: On the first day of reopening after the summer vacations, school students were given a grand welcome by school heads and teachers. In almost all schools across the district, students were welcomed as per the guidelines of the education department. At Government Senior Secondary School, Nukeria, under the leadership of Principal Hans Raj, students and teachers were showered with flowers as they entered the school, and were warmly greeted with a tilak ceremony.
In the morning assembly, Principal Hans Raj welcomed all students and teachers and appealed to everyone to engage in stress-free teaching and learning. Following this, a program was held that included students’ favorite games and music activities.
At Government Senior Secondary School, Mandi Amin Ganj, under the leadership of acting principals Puran Das and Dharampal, students received a heartwarming welcome. Students celebrated the day with joy, performing traditional dances like Giddha and Bhangra.
At Government High School, Alyana, Chief Teacher Jyoti Setia and Sahajpal Singh led the welcoming of students with flower showers. A show match of Kabaddi and Cricket was organized to help students relieve stress.
At Government Senior Secondary Schools in Jandwala, Bahmani Wala, and Paka, principals Mr. Jangra, Mr. Subhash Singh, and Mr. Narinder Pal respectively welcomed students warmly.
Rangoli decorations, Giddha-Bhangra performances, quiz competitions, painting contests, and sports events were organized across schools to welcome the students. Principal Hans Raj shared that this is a unique initiative of the Education Department and the Punjab Government. He stated that such efforts made the students feel happy and proud, as it showed how much care their teachers have for them.
Local panchayat leaders, sarpanches, and parents also expressed happiness over this initiative and wished for a bright future for their children.
