Haryana Desk: Haryana Minister of State for Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Mr. Rajesh Nagar, announced that the major road from Palla-Sehatpur to Basantpur in the Tigaon Assembly constituency of Faridabad district will be expanded to a four-lane road. This more than 4.6- kilometer-long road will be constructed at a cost of approximately ₹ 35 crore (approximately $350 million). The four-lane road will improve traffic in the area and provide greater convenience to commuters.
Mr. Rajesh Nagar stated that continuous efforts are being made to develop the area and provide better connectivity to the people. The demand for a four-lane road from Palla-Sehatpur to Basantpur has been a long-standing need of the area. He stated that the proposed four-lane road will include bus stops and other necessary amenities to facilitate daily commuters.
He said that the four-lane road will help reduce traffic congestion, facilitate commuting, and accelerate the area’s development. It will also strengthen connectivity with surrounding areas such as Sectors 35, 37, Ashoka Enclave , Sarai Khwaja , Molarbandh , Etmadpur , IP Colony , Badarpur , and Agwanpur Dairy.
Mr. Rajesh Nagar expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini for approving and advancing this important project. He said that under the Chief Minister’s leadership, development work is being continuously accelerated in the state and in the Tigaon Assembly constituency, development projects are being prioritized to meet the needs of the people.
