Himachal Desk: District Employment Officer Arvind Singh Chauhan announced today that applications have been invited for employment as home-based caregivers in Israel through the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited. The contract period will be two years , which can be renewed.
He informed that the total monthly salary for these posts is 6,443.85 New Israeli Shekels ( NIS ) , which is equivalent to approximately Rs 1.99 lakh per month as per the current exchange rate. This includes basic salary along with medical insurance , food and accommodation allowance and other expenses. He informed that however , deductions will be made for insurance , accommodation , food and other items as per the prescribed rules and the actual in-hand salary will be received after deductions, which is approximately Rs 1 lakh per month. The last date for registration has been fixed as September 01 , 2026 .
Eligibility for experience , diploma and certificate
They stated that the candidate must have completed at least 990 hours of training (OJT) related to caregiving services. (including) and holds a certificate recognized/issued by the competent Indian regulatory authority. OR The candidate should have a Nursing degree from a training institute recognized by the concerned Indian regulatory authority . Candidates must have completed a diploma in physiotherapy , nurse assistantship, or midwifery training. He stated that candidates with GDA, ANM, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or Post B.Sc. Nursing qualifications are eligible.
He said that before being sent to work and signing the contract, the selected candidates will be given approximately Rs 1,47,086. The candidate will have to bear the expenses of Rs. 10000. This amount is approximate and is subject to change. Apart from this, the visa processing fee will also be borne by the candidate. He informed that the said amount includes registration fee , medical examination fee , police report , passport fee (if required) , video recording fee of the interview and the first installment of the basket of services of the Israel-based placement bureau. Apart from this , the selected candidate will have to bear the expenses of air travel from India to Israel and back.
