Punjab Desk: District Magistrate Hoshiarpur Ashika Jain has issued various prohibitory orders in the district in exercise of the powers vested in her under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Act , 2023 . The District Magistrate has issued orders prohibiting the possession/sale of Pregabalin capsules without a license , possession/sale of more than the permitted quantity and sale of this medicine without a doctor’s prescription in the district. Violations of these orders will be subject to legal action.In addition to issuing orders for a complete ban on the transportation of cattle in the district from 6 pm to 6 am in summer and from 5 pm to 7 am in winter, orders have also been issued to register those who have cattle with the Animal Husbandry Department. In addition to this There is a ban on the use of military olive green (military color) jeeps, motorcycles, motor vehicles within the district limits. This order will not be applicable to military officers . Similarly , the use of Armed Forces / Punjab Police / B. S. F and military color uniforms will not be allowed by unauthorized persons ( adults ) and the sale and purchase of these uniforms to unauthorized persons has also been banned. This order will not be applicable to Armed Forces / Punjab Police / B. S. F / Military officers .As per the order issued by the District Magistrate, no person or Panchayat or Municipal Council or Nagar Panchayat shall fill up ponds in rural and urban areas of Hoshiarpur district without the prior written approval of the concerned Sub – Divisional Magistrate. Issuing another order, the District Magistrate has also banned illegal boring in the streets / paths in all the villages of the district.
