Red Cross Malerkotla organizes three-day first aid training classes

Punjab Desk: District Red Cross Branch Malerkotla is continuously organizing First Aid training classes to create awareness among the general public about the importance of First Aid. The aim of this training is to enable people to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations so that a person’s life can be saved even before reaching the hospital.
In the training classes, the trainees are given information about the basic principles , types , procedures and first aid kit of first aid. During the course, detailed training is given on CPR , assistance in case of fractures , methods of stopping blood flow , immediate assistance in case of burns and choking.
The District Red Cross Society recently conducted a three-day First Aid Training Course for 14 employees of Hydro Power Corporation under the corporate sector at the Training Center established in the Municipal Council Malerkotla office . After the completion of the training, the practical and theory papers of the students were also taken.
Deputy Commissioner Malerkotla Viraj S. Tidke reviewed the training camp and appreciated the training process. He interacted with the trainers and trainees and appealed to schools , colleges and industries to get motivated to get first aid training. The Deputy Commissioner said that such training is very important to save lives in emergency situations.
Secretary Red Cross Society Pawan Kumar , Executive Officer Chandra Prakash Wadhwa and First Aid Trainer Rajiv Kumar were present on this occasion.
