Punjab Desk: Punjab Executive President and MLA Sherry Kalsi said that keeping in mind the facilities of the people in the villages, special construction work of link roads has been started and the contractors constructing the roads have been bound to maintain the roads for five years.
MLA Shari Kalsi, while talking to the villagers after laying the foundation stone of the link road from Kahnuwan Road-Batala to village Behluwal, said that no stone will be left unturned in the all-round development of the village and the problems of the villagers have been resolved on priority basis. On this occasion, AXI Baldev Singh , Sarpanch Joga Singh and villagers were present in large numbers.
MLA Sherry Kalsi said that ponds are being renovated to solve the problem of wastewater drainage in villages , sports stadiums are being constructed in villages. Beautiful parks are being built in villages , street lights and CCTVs are being installed and it has been ensured that the problems of the people are resolved on priority basis.
MLA Sherry Kalsi further said that the Punjab government is making successful efforts to make the state a ‘Rangla Punjab’ and all-round development works are being done in every sector to make Punjab colorful. She said that the state government has done record development works during its tenure so far and big decisions have been taken in the interest of the people.
