Punjab Desk: The district-level Kala Utsav will be organized in Fazilka on August 8, 2025. The event will take place at the auditorium of the School of Eminence, Fazilka. Under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, this cultural program aims to connect students with their heritage and bring out their hidden talents. Various activities will be organized for students from Classes 9 to 12 as part of this initiative.
Providing this information, District Education Officer Ajay Sharma and District Education Nodal Officer Vijay Pal stated that such programs not only help polish students’ artistic abilities but also contribute to making them self-reliant. They added that through these competitions, students studying in schools will get a chance to showcase their talents at the district level and then move on to zonal, state, and national levels.
Nodal Officers Vijay Pal and Gurchinder Pal Singh shared that during the district-level program, competitions will be held in categories such as Vocal Music (Solo and Group), Instrumental Music (Solo and Group), Melody, Solo and Group Dance, Group Theatre Activities, Visual Arts (2D, 3D, Group), and Storytelling. They mentioned that students from government, aided, and private schools of Fazilka district from Classes 9 to 12 are eligible to participate. School principals have already been informed about the event.
