On Monday, on Paush Purnima, the first bathing festival of Mahakumbh 2025, lakhs of devotees took a holy dip in Triveni Sangam in Tirtharaj Prayag. Due to the coincidence of Makar Sankranti Snan festival on Tuesday, the second day of Maha Kumbh, most of the devotees have camped in the fair area or city with the desire to earn double virtue. According to the administration, 1.65 crore people performed puja at various ghats including Ganga.
- 1.65 crore devotees took bath on the first bathing festival, flowers were showered from helicopter to welcome.
- Today, on the first day of Magh month, the first Amrit Snan on Makar Sankranti, rituals will start from morning.

Due to the unique combination of planets and zodiac signs, on the occasion of the Mahakumbh organized in Tirtharaj Prayag after 12 years, the mind was filled with joy by taking a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam and the devotees and residents of Kalpa bowed their heads at the doorstep of the saints and got the blessings of a happy life.
