Punjab Desk: Punjab Working President and Batala MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi visited the Batala Municipal Corporation office where he met people, heard their problems, and resolved many issues on the spot. On this occasion, XEN Rohit Uppal, MC Balwinder Singh Minta, Satnam Singh, social worker Amrit Kalsi, senior leader Master Tilak Raj, Bhupinder Singh, and a large number of city residents were present.
While addressing the gathering, MLA Sherry Kalsi said that the main purpose of his visit was to personally listen to the grievances of the public related to the corporation and other departments and get them resolved through the concerned officials immediately. He emphasized that his constant effort is to ensure people do not face unnecessary difficulties in getting their work done, and therefore he personally reaches out to the public to resolve their problems.
He further stated that he is fully committed to the holistic development of Batala city and the well-being of its residents. To tackle the traffic problem in the city, roads and intersections have been widened and cleared. A new Tehsil Complex has been constructed to provide citizens with multiple government services under one roof, which will be inaugurated soon. Additionally, to ensure clean drinking water for the people of Batala, a new project worth around ₹24 crore has been launched.
MLA Sherry Kalsi reiterated his firm commitment and determination to the overall development of Batala and assured that he will continue working day and night in service of the people.
