Excitement Among Students for Independence Day Celebrations

Punjab news: The Independence Day celebrations will be held with great enthusiasm at Charan Ganga Stadium, Sri Anandpur Sahib, and preparations are in full swing. Today, the first full-scale rehearsal took place for the upcoming event.
Sharing details after the rehearsal, the committee in charge of selecting cultural performances for the celebrations informed that the second rehearsal will be held on August 12, followed by the full-dress rehearsal on August 13. They stated that to make the event more impactful, students from various schools will present patriotic and cultural programs.
The celebrations will begin with the chief guest hoisting the national flag, followed by the national anthem, a march past, PT show, and an impressive parade. After this, the cultural and patriotic performances will add more charm to the event.
On this occasion, Government High School Dasgrai presented Luddi dance, Government Primary School Gambhirpur performed Sammi, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School showcased choreography, Sant Seva Singh School Jindwari presented choreography, Khalsa Senior Secondary School performed a yoga activity, and School of Eminence, Kiratpur Sahib, staged Bhangra and Giddha performances.
Present during the event were Ranjit Singh (NCC Officer), Ajay Bains, Manjeet Kaur, Harleen Kaur, Didar Singh, Gursewak Singh, Suman Chandla, Iqbal Singh, Satish Kumar, Amarjit Singh, Barjinder Singh, Narinder Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, and Amanpreet Kaur.
