Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, the District Red Cross Society is running various vocational centers for the welfare of the poor/needy persons and for providing vocational training to women.
Giving information in this regard, Secretary, District Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood said that the Red Cross Society also provides first aid training to conductors, drivers, factory/company, workers, school children, in which regard a three-day first aid camp was organized at Vardhman Yarns and Threads, Phagwara Road from January 15 to 17. In this camp, first aid trainer Sarabjit provided first aid training to 30 company workers and staff. In this training, workers/staff were given information about the causes of any accident, prevention and providing necessary first aid. In this training, information was given about road accidents, heart attacks, burns, poisoning, fractures, strokes, protection from electricity, transport. Sarabjit said that by giving the right first aid at the right time to a person affected by any accident, his life can be saved. Therefore, first aid training is essential for everyone.
Secretary District Red Cross Society appealed to all factories/companies that first aid training is necessary in factories, companies. Therefore, first aid training should be conducted on a large scale. To get this training done, first aid trainer Sarabjit can be contacted on 98153-76340.
