Punjab Desk:Under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab, S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to promoting sports and fostering a sports culture across the state. Aman Sher Singh Shari Kalsi, Punjab’s Working President and the young MLA from Batala, stated during a conversation that the Punjab Government has made successful efforts to inspire youth in both urban and rural areas towards sports, and the enthusiasm of young people for sports has increased.
MLA Shari Kalsi further said that the Punjab Government is constructing sports grounds in villages to keep the youth away from drugs and is firmly determined to build ultra-modern stadiums in every village. He reiterated that the objective of this initiative is to establish Punjab as a leading state in the country.
MLA Shari Kalsi emphasized that reviving sports is a central pillar of the “War Against Drugs” campaign. The aim is to channel the energy of the youth towards constructive paths. He said the government will leave no stone unturned in upgrading infrastructure and enabling athletes to excel in athletics.
MLA Shari Kalsi stated that the Punjab Government is committed to the all-round development of the state and its people. The state’s ancient glory will be restored under all circumstances, and no effort will be spared in this regard. He expressed confidence that the day is not far when Punjab will lead the country in every field.
