Punjab Desk: District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Ramandeep Kaur stated that the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) Hoshiarpur is making continuous efforts to provide employment opportunities to job seekers. She emphasized that the popular saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention”, has been truly proven right by the Rozgar Mobile App launched by the Employment Office.
She said that employment is a basic need of every household, and every young person dreams of securing a job. However, many are unaware of where and how to find the right opportunity. In recent years, the Rozgar Mobile App has successfully bridged this gap. Daily listings of private and government job openings are uploaded on the app.
In addition, the app provides facilities for less-educated youth, such as admission into free skill development courses and guidance on availing loans for self-employment or starting their own business. She added that a large number of job seekers have already downloaded this mobile app, and many among them have secured employment with its help.
The District Employment Officer further said that the performance of the Rozgar Mobile App has exceeded expectations. Over the past few months, it has played a major role in helping well-educated youth get placed in renowned private companies and reputed private schools with attractive annual salary packages.
She expressed satisfaction in seeing that youth from remote and border areas, who were previously unable to reach the district employment office, are now connected to the Hoshiarpur Employment Bureau directly through their mobile phones from the comfort of their homes.
She appealed to all the youth of Hoshiarpur district to download the office’s mobile app ‘DBEE Online’ from the Google Play Store, and make full use of this platform to access recruitment for private sector jobs, stay updated on government job notifications, and avail the maximum benefits from the services offered through this app.
