30 MAY 2025 FACT RECORDER
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the registration process for supplementary exams for Class 10 and Class 12. Private candidates can register from today onwards by visiting the official website cbse.gov.in. The application window will remain open from May 30 to June 17, 2025.
Who Can Apply?
Private candidates who appeared in the CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 board exams in 2025 and were placed in the “compartment” category are eligible to apply for the supplementary exams. Additionally, private students who have already passed but wish to improve their scores in any subject can also register.
It is important to note that regular students with compartment status must apply for supplementary exams through their respective schools and cannot apply individually.
CBSE Supplementary Exam Schedule
CBSE has announced that the supplementary exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will begin from July 15, 2025. A detailed timetable will be released later on the official website. Class 10 students can appear in a maximum of two subjects, while Class 12 students are allowed to apply for improvement in only one subject.
Applicants are advised to carefully verify all entered details, especially subject choices and personal information, as no corrections will be allowed after form submission.
Admit Card Release Date
Admit cards for the supplementary exams are expected to be available in the first week of July 2025. Students should regularly check the official CBSE website for updates on the date sheet and admit card release.
