Punjab Desk: Under the leadership of Raman Bahil, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is steadily gaining strength in the Gurdaspur assembly constituency. Owing to the party’s pro-people policies, it has now received support from the intellectual community in the area.
Influenced by AAP’s people-centric approach, former principal Balbir Singh, former lecturer Karnail Singh Ball, and Ruldu Ram Chahia, along with their associates, joined the Aam Aadmi Party yesterday in the presence of Raman Bahil.
Welcoming the intellectuals to the party, Raman Bahil, the constituency in-charge, said that support from the intellectual community strengthens the party. He added that all the leaders joining AAP will be accorded full respect and honor. Bahil emphasized that intellectuals have always guided society, inspiring the public to follow their example. He stated that the support extended by the intellectual community in Gurdaspur solidifies the fact that AAP is the only party sincerely serving the people of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, former principal Balbir Singh expressed his admiration for the party’s work under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Singh Mann. He said that impressed by AAP’s dedication to public service, he and his associates decided to join the party. Balbir Singh highlighted that youth in the state are being given jobs based on merit, with transparency and integrity. He also mentioned that his son and daughter received employment on merit under the Mann government, for which he expressed gratitude.
Balbir Singh and his associates further committed to becoming dedicated workers of the Aam Aadmi Party, vowing to work day and night for the party’s growth and success.
