Three Bike-Borne Miscreants Hurl Petrol Bomb at House, Family Narrowly Escapes

Punjab Desk: Petrol Bomb Attack in Adampur: Family Escapes Unhurt, Police Launch   Investigation                                                                                                             The incident took place late Sunday night around 12 a.m. in Adampur. CCTV footage captured three youths throwing petrol bombs. The police have begun an investigation into the matter.

Near the town of Adampur in Jalandhar, three bike-borne miscreants threw petrol bombs at a house in Gandhi Nagar locality, attempting to cause serious damage. The incident occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday. Fortunately, no one was injured, but significant damage was caused both inside and outside the house.

Adampur Police Station SHO Hardev Preet Singh confirmed that the attack happened around midnight on Sunday. According to Hansraj, the owner of the house, his wife Paraminder Kaur informed the police that their son and daughter live abroad, and they reside in the house with their younger son Sumit Kumar.

Hansraj said that when the family woke up in the morning, they found shattered glass pieces inside the house and burn marks on the main gate. The family immediately informed Adampur police about the incident. During the investigation, CCTV footage from the house was reviewed, showing three unidentified youths arriving on a motorcycle and throwing bottles filled with petrol before fleeing the scene.

SHO Hardev Preet Singh said the case is being investigated seriously, and the accused will be identified and arrested soon. A formal case will be registered shortly.
