Punjab Desk: In order to encourage the farmers of Barnala district to manage the paddy stubble in fields itself without burning it, the last date for the lucky draw (parali) 2025 has been extended to September 30.
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Mr T Benith said that the total cash prize of Rs.1,00,000 will be disbursed in lucky draw. The prize shall be distributed among 25 winners. The award money for first prize is Rs.20,000, for second prize is Rs.15,000, for third prize is Rs.10,000 and the rest will be distributed among other farmers.
Mr. T. Benith said that in order to make it easier for the farmers to apply for lucky draw, a link and QR code have been issued. To get this link, a WhatsApp link can be obtained on 7973975463.
He said that this campaign is being conducted for proper management of stubble in Barnala district. Earlier, farmers of Barnala could apply for lucky draw (parali) till September 15, 2025, which has now bee extended to September 30, 2025. If anyone farmer wants more information, he or she can contact on 7973975463. Deputy Commissioner Barnala appealed farmers to properly manage stubble without burning it.
Giving information Chief Agriculture Officer Barnala Dr. Harbans Singh Sidhu said that this link has been publicly posted in all agriculture offices and DC offices for the information of farmers. From which the farmers will not face any difficulty in applying for the lucky draw.
