Punjab Desk: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan reached Baba Dayal Singh Chowk in Kotkapura last evening and inspected the place allotted for the establishment of a new bus stand. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Madam Poonamdeep Kaur was specially present with him.
Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that it is very important to build a new bus stand to solve the traffic problem in Kotkapura city. He said that in this regard, instructions have already been given to the district administration to select a new place and establish a new tehsil complex.
He said that the existing bus stand is located inside the city, which increases the traffic pressure, due to which its establishment at a new location will solve this problem to a large extent. He said that detailed discussions have been held with the district administration regarding this project and he himself has reached there to inspect its progress.
On this occasion, SDM Kotkapura Mr. Suraj and Tehsildar Kotkapura Rupinder Singh Bal, Simranjit Singh MC were also present.
