Chandigarh, Haryana Desk: Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Shri Harvindra Kalyan said that Guru Brahmanand Ji always worked for public welfare and guided humanity on the path of righteousness. He promoted values like following the right path, environmental protection, staying away from evil, and empowering women. He dedicated his life to the service of humanity. We should all take inspiration from his life and continue contributing to the welfare of society and the nation.
Shri Harvindra Kalyan was addressing a religious gathering held today at Jagadguru Shri Brahmanand Ashram in Mundri village, Kaithal.
At the Ashram, he offered prayers before the statue of Guru Brahmanand Ji and participated in a Havan Yajna. He emphasized that we must connect with the teachings of Guru Brahmanand Ji so that we may perform good deeds in our lives.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, he also planted a sapling in the ashram premises and stressed the need to plant more trees in view of the growing threat of global warming. He said that we should nurture plants like our own children so that they grow to provide us with shade, fruits, and oxygen. He further added that plastic waste is polluting the environment and harming wildlife. Our small efforts, such as proper waste segregation and reuse of materials, can lead to significant change. Let us take a strong step forward toward eliminating plastic pollution.
