Punjab Desk: All-round development of Batale constituency and solutions to people’s prob Punjab Executive President and MLA Amansher Singh Shari Kalsi had started the work of laying sewerage in Naushera Majha Singh for the convenience of the residents , and the work is progressing rapidly.
On this occasion, regarding the sewerage being laid in the village, Mandeep Singh Gill , District Youth Leader Gurdaspur and the villagers said that due to the efforts of MLA Shari Kalsi, the villagers have got a big relief. He further said that MLA Shari Kalsi is getting development loans for the villages of the constituency in a transparent manner. Playgrounds have been constructed in the villages with the aim of keeping the youth away from drugs. Ponds have been renovated etc. for drainage of dirty water in the villages and the work of laying sewerage is going on rapidly.
He said that in addition to sewerage, water supply work has been done to provide clean water to the people in the town of Naushera Majha Singh and he is constantly making efforts to resolve the problems of the villagers.
It is worth mentioning that MLA Sherry Kalsi has started the work of laying sewerage in the first phase at a cost of Rs 50 lakh and she had said that no shortage of funds will be allowed till the sewerage is completed.
Earlier, water supply work has been done to provide clean water to the people in the town of Naushera Majha Singh at a cost of about Rs. 1 crore.
