On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner thanked the members of the association and said that the Rangla Punjab initiative started by the Punjab government The aim of the campaign is to promote the progress and development of the state and citizen participation is very important in this.
He said that this contribution by the Punjab Police Pensioners Welfare Association is a symbol of their dedication and spirit of service towards the government. He hoped that other social , religious and welfare organizations would also extend their due support by making similar efforts.
On this occasion, Mr. Harjinder Singh Dhaliwal said that the members of the association have jointly collected this amount so that the pro-people schemes of the Punjab government can be further strengthened.
