“War Against Drugs” Campaign: Anti-Drug Yatra Held in Various Villages of Khadoor Sahib Constituency

Punjab Desk: As part of the Punjab Government’s “War Against Drugs” campaign, special anti-drug awareness programs were organized in several villages of the Khadoor Sahib constituency, including Piddi, Rasoolpur Kalan, Rasoolpur Khurd, Dugalwal, and Lalpur.

The main aim of these events was to raise awareness among local residents about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage collective social efforts toward building a drug-free Punjab.

The programs saw active participation from Khadoor Sahib MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Atul Soni (DSP Goindwal Sahib), SHO Avtar Singh Sona, Chairman of Mandi Board Naushehra Pannuan Harjit Singh Sandhu, constituency coordinator Jaskaran Singh Laddi, and a large number of villagers, panchs, sarpanchs, and respected local figures.

While addressing the gatherings, MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is strongly committed to eradicating drugs from the state.

He urged villagers to socially boycott those involved in drug trafficking and consumption, and to encourage those addicted to seek free and effective treatment at government de-addiction centers.

Constituency coordinator Jaskaran Singh Laddi also appealed to the people to actively support the government’s campaign against drugs.

During the events, local residents expressed unity in the fight against drugs and pledged their full support in curbing the sale and use of drugs in their communities.

Also present on the occasion were Pal Singh Khalsa Gill Waraich, Amrik Singh Rasoolpur (Block President), Baljeet Singh Jarmastpur (Block President), Bachittar Singh Pakhoke (Vice Coordinator), and other notable leaders from the villages.
