Punjab Desk: Punjab Working President and MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi stated that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, is making serious and continuous efforts for the welfare of all sections of society, especially women, the elderly, and children. He emphasized that the progress of any society depends on the social security, health, and education of its underprivileged, elderly, and women.
MLA Sherry Kalsi further said that the state government has carried out significant development work for the benefit of every section and has ensured the effective implementation of welfare schemes at the grassroots level. He added that strict instructions have been issued to officials to ensure that the benefits of social welfare schemes being run by the Punjab government are delivered to the needy in a transparent and timely manner.
He also mentioned that uninterrupted power supply has been provided to farmers for paddy cultivation. Commendable steps have been taken by the government to ensure canal water reaches the fields. Priority is being given to addressing public issues by directly reaching out to the people, and the government remains consistently committed to the welfare of every section.
He further stated that the Punjab government is dedicated to women empowerment, elderly care, and child development. He said that these efforts will be a significant step toward turning the dream of a prosperous Punjab into reality.
