Punjab Desk: District Program Officer Ruchika Nanda informed that the Punjab Government has issued a notification for the registration of institutions working in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) for children aged 3 to 6 years to ensure their holistic development.
She stated that the Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development, Punjab, has initiated the registration process for these private institutions (play way schools). These institutions must ensure their registration and are also required to renew their registration annually. An annual registration fee of ₹5,000 will be charged from these institutions.
To apply for registration, institutions can download the government-issued notification, Form Annexure-1, and related guidelines from the official website of District Ferozepur: ferozepur.nic.in.
For ensuring registration and for further information, institutions can contact the office of the District Program Officer, Ferozepur, or the office of the respective Block CDPO (Child Development Project Officer).
