Punjab Desk: District Programme Officer of Sri Muktsar Sahib, Ratandeep Sandhu, informed that the Prime Minister’s National Child Award is presented to outstanding children across the country in recognition of their exceptional achievements.
He stated that this award is given to children who have shown exemplary courage, served others selflessly, acted as role models for younger children, or made notable contributions in the fields of sports, social service, science and technology, environment, and the arts.
The District Programme Officer further added that any child under the age of 18 is eligible for this award. To nominate a child, applications can be submitted online through the portal https://awards.gov.in by July 31, 2025.
