Punjab Desk: To highlight the spirit of national service among the students at P.M.Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Akkanwali, a one-day NSS camp was organized under the leadership of School Head Mr. Narinder Singh Mohal. In this camp, nodal Gurmeet Singh Punjabi Master, Gurdeep Singh Lect. Physical, Sukhwinder Singh PTI, Iqbal Singh teachers told the students about the importance of NSS, the importance of cleanliness in the school and its surroundings.
The students cleaned the school and its surroundings with great enthusiasm and zeal, the entire school staff also contributed by cooperating with the students in this camp. On this occasion, refreshments were also arranged for all the students with the help of the female staff and mid-day meal workers.
School Principal Narinder Mohal said that it is imperative to organize such camps from time to time so that the spirit of national service can be further cultivated in the minds of the students so that they can take care of and love these institutions of theirs in a better manner.
