Punjab Desk: Faridkot MLA S. Gurdit Singh Sekhon has extended his warmest greetings and best wishes to the people of the constituency on the auspicious festival of Diwali/Bandi Chhor.
He said that this festival of lights symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. We should celebrate this festival in an atmosphere of happiness, love and mutual brotherhood.
He appealed to the people to celebrate this festival with simplicity. He said that minimum use of firecrackers should be done so that air pollution can be avoided and a future with clean air is secured for our children.
He said, “Let us all celebrate this Diwali together with the spirit of love, unity and service to each other and take Punjab further on the path of progress.”
