Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program – Closing Ceremony

Punjab Desk:  The six-day Kashmiri Youth Exchange Program, a joint initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, organised by MY Bharat at Youth Hostel, Tarn Taran, in which 120 participants from Kashmir district- Baramulla, Kupwara, Budgam, Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag  participated concluded successfully under the supervision of the Deputy Director Ms. Jasleen Kour.
The closing ceremony was graced by DSP S. Kamaljit Singh as the Chief Guest, while SHO Navdeep Singh was present as the Guest of Honour.
The program commenced with a warm welcome of the dignitaries by Accounts and Program Supervisor Mr. Sadhu Ram Salgotra. This was followed by a comprehensive brief of the six-day program presented by Deputy Director Ms. Jasleen Kour, highlighting the key activities, learning experiences, and cultural exposure provided to the participants.
The ceremony featured vibrant cultural performances by the participants, followed by experience-sharing sessions, where participants shared their learnings and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore the culture and heritage of Punjab.
The event also included the distribution of awards and certificates to the participants, recognising their active participation and achievements during the program.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest DSP S. Kamaljit Singh shared his experiences and encouraged the youth to remain committed to the values of unity, discipline, and national integration. The Guest of Honour SHO Navdeep Singh also motivated the participants with his valuable words.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Deputy Director Ms. Jasleen Kour, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organising staff for their support and contribution.
