Office of District Public Relations Officer, Barnala Annual Budget Presented, Proposed Projects and Agendas Discussed Call for Contributions for Nutrition Kits for TB Patients

Punjab Desk: An important executive meeting of the District Red Cross Society, Barnala was held today at the meeting hall of the District Administrative Complex under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Barnala, Mr. T. Banith, IAS.
On this occasion, the Secretary of the District Red Cross Society and District Social Security Officer, Dr. Teavaspreet Kaur, presented the meeting agenda. The agenda included a report on the income and expenditure of the Red Cross Society for the year 2024-2025, and the annual budget for 2025-2026 was presented to the members.
In addition, discussions were held with members on proposed courses through the District Red Cross Society Barnala, such as road safety, training for licensed weapon holders, basic first aid training for students, and other suggested courses. The members also discussed the proposal of constructing an additional floor on the Red Cross building.
At the meeting, Executive Committee member Mr. Raj Kumar Jindal inquired about conducting an audit. Member Mr. Nachattar Singh from Standard Combine suggested bringing large projects. In response, the Deputy Commissioner of Barnala said that in the future, major projects will be launched in sectors such as health and education so that industrial institutions can contribute through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
On this occasion, the Acting Secretary along with District Finance Officer Gurjinder Singh invited all members to contribute towards nutrition kits for TB patients. He mentioned that contributions for this initiative have already been made by Trident Group and IOL, and other organizations are encouraged to come forward for this noble cause.
Senior Deputy Commissioner (General) Anuprita Johal, SDM Harpreet Singh Atwal, SDM Simarpreet Kaur, members Mr. Lakhat Rai (LP Rai Developers), Nachattar Singh (Standard Combine), Mr. Raj Kumar Jindal, Mr. Randhir Kaushal, Dr. Kamlesh Bansal, Dr. Sashi Shobhat, representatives from Trident and IOL Manpreet Sharma, District Education Office staff, and Red Cross Office staff were also present.
