Health Department teams conduct door-to-door campaign in Malkana Mohalla

 In view of the increasing cases of dengue, teams of the Health Department have started a door-to-door campaign in Malkana

Doctors are conducting tests by setting up special camps, blood samples are being taken on the spot.

Punjab Desk:  In view of the increasing cases of dengue, teams of the Health Department have started a door-to-door campaign in Malkana Mohalla, under which a special camp is also being organized by teams of doctors and nursing staff in which blood samples of suspected fever patients are being taken on the spot.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Rohit Goyal said that the teams of the department have been conducting anti-larva activities in the area for the last few days and follow-up of positive cases is being done. Samples of new fever cases are being taken. A cleanliness drive is also being run by the Municipal Council.
District Epidemic Officer Dr. Sunita Kamboj said that the teams of the department, which include doctors, mail workers, bridge checkers and nursing students, are visiting houses and water sources are being checked. She said that blood samples are being taken on the spot through the kit and the remaining samples are being sent to Fazilka Civil Hospital for testing.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Rohit Goyal appealed to the people to cooperate with the department. He said that if we fight this battle together, we can win it. He said that people need to be aware of the symptoms of dengue.
