Punjab Government Committed to Strengthening and Modernizing Education: Harjot Bains Crores spent on development works in government schools have transformed their appearance

Punjab Education Minister Mr. Harjot Singh Bains, while inaugurating the development works completed in various government schools of the Sri Anandpur Sahib assembly constituency under the state government’s initiated “Education Revolution,” stated that the Punjab Government is fully dedicated and committed to making the education sector modern and progressive.
Today, the Education Minister inaugurated completed development works at Government Primary School Bhagwala, Government Middle School Bhagwala, Government Primary School Mahidali Khurd, Government Primary School Kahiwal, Government Primary School Samlah, and Government Senior Secondary School Samlah. He also reviewed the ongoing work. He mentioned that due to the sincere efforts of the government, not only has the basic infrastructure of schools been strengthened, but significant improvements in the quality of education have also been made. Teachers are being trained by international institutions, and as a result, Punjab is emerging prominently on the educational map.
Referring to the allocation of 12% of the state’s total budget to education, Harjot Singh Bains emphasized that the government is putting in its full efforts to strengthen the education sector from every angle. He stated that, with the government’s efforts, the much-needed transformation in the teaching methodology is being achieved, and students are receiving quality education aligned with the competitive demands of the present era, enabling them to face global challenges with confidence. He added that major improvements have been made in the infrastructure of government schools, and such reforms will continue in the future as well.
He mentioned that approximately ₹1.25 crore is being spent on the basic development of the senior secondary and primary schools in Samlah, marking the first time such notable reforms have taken place in the education sector. On this occasion, he congratulated the students, teachers, and parents, whose tireless efforts and trust have made Punjab’s educational revolution a shining example.
