Punjab Desk: With the objective of promoting Punjabi literature, culture, and art, the Department of Languages, Punjab publishes literary journals in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu from time to time.
District Language Officer, Tarn Taran, Dr. Jagdeep Singh Sandhu informed that under the guidance of Director Jaswant Singh Zafar, the Department will soon publish special issues of its journals — ‘Jan Sahit’ dedicated to Shri Avtar Singh Paash and ‘Punjabi Duniya’ dedicated to Dr. Harbhajan Singh.
These special issues are scheduled to be released between October and December 2025. Therefore, all writers and literary contributors are requested to send their original and unpublished works/research papers for inclusion in these journals.

The last date for submission is August 31, 2025. Authors must also provide a declaration confirming the originality of the work, along with their complete postal address and phone number.
