Delhi Election 2025 On the complaint of AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal regarding alleged violation of the code of conduct in the New Delhi Assembly, the New Delhi Election Officer has directed the police to investigate. Recently, two separate complaints were given by AAP leaders regarding Pravesh Verma. One of these complaints was lodged by Arvind Kejriwal himself.
Jagran correspondent, New Delhi. The police will now investigate the allegations of violation of election code of conduct against BJP candidate from New Delhi Assembly constituency, Parvesh Verma. The Election Commission has asked for its report from the police. It is known that Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor and candidate from New Delhi region Arvind Kejriwal had complained against Pravesh Verma to the District Election Officer.
He had alleged that Pravesh Verma was going to organize a job camp on January 15. Another complaint was made by AAP leaders that Pravesh Verma was distributing pamphlets without writing the name and address of the printer.
According to New Delhi Election Office officials, nothing was found in the investigation of AAP’s allegations, hence now the station officer of Tilak Marg police station has been asked to investigate. If the complaint is found true then action will be taken against Verma under RP Act.
