Amargarh MLA Expresses Grief Over the Demise of Senior Akali Leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa

Amargarh MLA Prof. Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra expressed deep sorrow over the passing of senior Akali leader and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, who passed away on Wednesday evening at a private hospital in Mohali. He informed that Dhindsa was 89 years old and is survived by his wife, a son, and two daughters. Beginning his political journey as the youngest Sarpanch of his district, Dhindsa rose to serve as a Union Minister, fulfilling his responsibilities with dedication.

In his condolence message, the MLA expressed profound grief at the demise of the veteran leader and recalled his tireless efforts for public welfare. He said that Dhindsa’s service to Punjab and the nation will always be remembered.

The MLA added that, both personally and on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, he pays his respects and floral tribute to the departed soul and prays to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss.
