The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has recently restructured its Punjab unit to strengthen its organizational framework ahead of upcoming political challenges. As part of this revamp, the party has appointed five new vice presidents to oversee different regions and aspects of party work within the state.

The move aims to enhance coordination and improve grassroots-level connect with party workers and the public. These appointments are expected to bring fresh energy and leadership to AAP’s Punjab chapter as it prepares for future elections.

Party officials believe that this restructuring will help streamline decision-making and boost AAP’s presence across Punjab, enabling it to address local issues more effectively. The new vice presidents will play a key role in mobilizing support and implementing party policies throughout the state.

Four legislators — Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Amandeep Kaur, Charanjit Singh, and Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar — have been appointed as state vice presidents of the party.

Additionally, Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi, the Banga legislator who had contested the 2022 Assembly elections on a Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) ticket and joined AAP last year, has also been named a party vice president.
