Punjab Desk: Sandeep Gilhotra (70), a prominent business entrepreneur and landlord, passed away in the early hours of Friday after a brief illness. He was the father-in-law of AAP Punjab state president and Cabinet Minister Aman Arora, and the father of Karan Gilhotra, co-chairman of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Punjab.
According to family sources, Gilhotra had been undergoing treatment for a stomach ailment and was admitted to AIIMS Bathinda five days ago. Despite medical care, his condition deteriorated, leading to his demise.
His last rites will be performed today at 3 pm in Fazilka. Family members, friends, and well-wishers are expected to attend the cremation to pay their final respects.
