Health Department continues activities against dengue

Health Desk: The Health Department is fully active to make Fazilka district dengue free . Teams are conducting surveys in different areas of Fazilka city and are taking action against dengue . Civil Surgeon Dr. Rohit Goyal and Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Arpit Gupta are personally leading the door to door survey in the field and are continuously making people aware of dengue .
Why? Under A series of government offices are also being covered so that the people coming to the office can be kept healthy in terms of health. The Health Department visited the SSP office and the team conducted fogging and made the people coming to get office work done aware. They appealed to the people to cooperate with the teams visiting the houses so that the spread of dengue cannot be prevented and people can be saved from getting sick .
District Police Chief S. Gurmeet Singh thanked the Health Department and the team and said that they are continuously taking initiatives by going out in the field for the safety of the people. He said that a large number of people come to the office and their safety is our responsibility. Therefore, teams were called and fogging was done at the office so that dengue could not spread.
The District Police Chief said that while the police department is continuously working for the safety of people’s lives and property, it is also active in terms of people’s health. This effort has been made by the health department to keep the people healthy so that people who come to the office to get work done do not fall prey to diseases like dengue etc. The commitment to keep the office staff healthy who provide the best services to the people is also being ensured.
He appealed to the district administration to cooperate in the prevention of dengue. He said that whoever shows symptoms of fever, cold , fatigue etc., then he should immediately go to the civil hospital and get himself tested, dengue test is done completely free of cost at the hospital . He said that the teams of the health department and the municipal council Fazilka are engaged in eliminating dengue in the streets and neighborhoods.
He said that teams are going door to door checking refrigerator trays , flower pots , open containers , water tanks and other sources of standing water and all the members of the household are being made aware to avoid dengue. Ravinder Sharma and other staff from the health department were present on this occasion.
