Punjab Desk: Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Tarn Taran, Shri Rahul IAS, a village-level farmer training camp was organized in the village Chamba Khurd of Block Naushera Pannuan. The camp was conducted under the capable leadership of Chief Agriculture Officer Tarn Taran, Dr. Tejbir Singh Bhangu, and Block Agriculture Officer Naushera Pannuan, Dr. Malvinder Singh. A large number of farmers participated in this camp.
During the event, Agriculture Extension Officer, Circle Dhotian, Shri Sukhvinder Singh, informed the farmers about the losses caused by burning paddy stubble and provided detailed information regarding subsidies on agricultural equipment. He also educated farmers about diseases and pests affecting paddy and basmati crops and shared technical knowledge for their prevention.
At the occasion, Shri Harinder Singh, A.T.M., explained in detail the ongoing PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme to the farmers. The event was attended by Chamba Khurd village Sarpanch, Gurpratap Singh, and a large number of local farmers.
