Punjab Desk : Deputy Commissioner Madam Poonamdeep Kaur said that the paddy market in the district is Purchase The work of the department is continuing continuously and till last evening various government departments Purchase 113492 from agencies Metric tons of paddy has been purchased. He said that the work of lifting paddy is also continuing on a war footing. He said that till now the farmers have been given 182.70 Payment of crores of rupees has been made.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the farmers of the district to bring only completely dry paddy to the market so that they do not face any kind of problem. He also appealed to the farmers to contribute towards the conservation of the environment by not burning the stubble. Giving further information in this regard, District Food and Supply Controller S. Gurjit Singh said that the paddy supply in the markets was completed till yesterday evening. Purchase According to the data of various agencies including Pangrain, 42647 Metric Ton , Markfed 36895.87 Metric Ton , PUNSUP 19625.63 metric tons , Punjab State Govt. Corporation has procured 14125 metric tons , and private traders have procured 198 metric tons of paddy. Purchase He said that so far a total of 51365 people have been tested in the district. Lifting of metric tons of paddy has been completed.
